Biggest Tires on a Stock Lexus GX470 & GX460: Fitment Guide
On a stock GX470 (2003–2009) the factory tire is 265/65R17 (30.6″) and the practical max on stock wheels is 265/70R17 (31.6″), with some rubbing at full lock. On a stock GX460 (2010–2023) the factory tire is 265/60R18 (30.5″); 265/65R18 (31.6″) fits clean and owners run 265/70R18 (32.6″) on stock suspension and stock wheels. True 33s like 285/70R17 need a 2″–3″ lift, lower-offset wheels and usually a body mount chop. 35s need all of that plus aftermarket UCAs, trimming and a regear.

Biggest Tires on a Stock 80 Series Land Cruiser (FZJ80)
On a stock FZJ80 Land Cruiser (1991–1997) with factory suspension and factory 16x8 wheels, the biggest tire that fits with zero rubbing is 285/75R16 (32.8″). A 33″ skinny like 255/85R16 fits with minor trimming. 35s (315/75R16) require a 2.5″–3″ lift, 4.88 regear, and trimming. 37s need body work and custom control arms.

Biggest Tires on a Stock 100 Series Land Cruiser (UZJ100)
On a stock 100 Series Land Cruiser (1998–2007) or Lexus LX 470 with factory 16x8 wheels, the community-standard biggest tire is 285/75R16 (32.8″) with zero lift and zero rubbing. 295/75R16 fits some trucks but rubs others. For 315/75R16 (34.6″), plan on an OME 2″ lift plus minor liner work. 18″ wheel builds top out at 275/70R18 with stock offset.
